Install and disconnect a push-in fitting
Follow the process at a comfortable pace using the original AUC 0606 CAD assembly. The blue tube represents 3/8 in tubing, with a 9.525 mm outside diameter.
Before disconnecting: isolate the line and fully release all pressure. Never disconnect a pressurised tube.

Cut the tube square
Use a suitable tube cutter to make a clean, straight cut. Check the end for burrs, dirt, cracks or damage. Keep at least 30 mm of tube behind the end free from scratches.

Push tube fully into the fitting
Push straight through the collet until the tube reaches the internal stop. You may feel resistance as it passes the O-ring. Pull back gently once to confirm the tube is retained.

Disconnect only after depressurising
Release all pressure first. Remove any separate locking clip if fitted, then press the collet evenly towards the fitting body while pulling the tube straight out.
